Chris Young opts out of Broadway and builds new club in "The Heart of Music City." | Music City Minute
When we think of Nashville, Tennessee, several iconic locations come to mind - such as the Grand Ole Opry, Ryman Auditorium and notorious Honky-Tonk Highway in the lower Broadway District. However, every day, artists arrive to town with stars in their eyes and a dream to make on Music Row. It is a fact that Chris Young has spent a lot of time writing, recording, performing and even living nearby the Heart of Music City for a spell, along Demonbreun Street.
With all that personal history, it makes sense the Middle Tennessee native would wish to share memories with friends and fans alike at his very own club. Appropriately named, Famous Friends, Young said "good vibes" is the overall goal. The new venue, which is aiming for a relaxed sports bar setup, promises to be a spot that can be enjoyed by locals as well. Additionally, if we know anything about Nashville, I’m sure there’s going to be a stage where Chris Young will perform with his famous friends from time to time. Even though the venue is nearly complete, an official opening date has not been made available.
