In a recent interview, Russell Dickerson revealed that at the end of their tour together, McGraw walked up to his bus, sat down, and handed him $20,000 in cash. Just like that. Dickerson said quote, "Tim McGraw sat down outside my bus and just slapped me up twenty bands. Just a crispy twenty Gs."
Dickerson said he noticed a large bulge in the back pocket of McGraw's famously tight jeans but had no idea what it was until McGraw reached back, pulled out the stack, and handed it over without a second thought. Dickerson, being Dickerson, wrapped up the story with a joke: "He was caked up, bro" and then added, "He does work out a lot." Four years later and that story still hits.
