Here’s What the Farmer’s Almanac Says About This Winter in Colorado

Sep 1, 2022, 5:38 PM

The Old Farmer’s Almanac claims their weather predictions are accurate about 80% to 85% of the time. However, they do keep things pretty vague. Still though, it’s probably worth knowing what they have to say about winter as we creep up on that time of year.

Their predictions for the winter of late 2022/early 2023 has the state basically split in half. Cold and dry weather is expected from the Front Range region eastward, while mild and snowy weather is expected west of the Continental Divide.

Again, pretty vague… They’re pretty much saying this winter will be like most winters in Colorado, expect cold, but lots of sun, and some snow thrown in here and there.
