Tickets to watch PGA golf in Colorado are almost as pricey as going to a Taylor Swift show

I’ll start by saying I am a golf fan, but I’ve never thought of it as a spectator sport. So this week while the best golfers are in Colorado, I’ll be watching at home from my couch!
50 top golfers face off in the BMW Championship at Castle Pines Golf Club with practice rounds starting today (Aug. 20) and the tournament taking place Aug. 22 to 25.
Friday, Saturday, and Sunday are technically sold-out, but it’s 2024 and you can buy resale tickets. That’s where you’ll run into Taylor Swift-like prices… Thursday’s opening round sees tickets in the $130 range before taxes and fees on StubHub. But those sold-out rounds on the weekend will run you at least $300 just to get in.
The good news here is Castle Pines expects to see 100,000 visitors and an estimated $30 million to the local economy.
