It wasn’t long ago that you could get into a University of Colorado Buffaloes football game for practically nothing. Boy, did the Coach Prime hype change that…
After being the fourth-most expensive game-day experience last year, a betting website called Oddspedia says attending a CU game in Boulder is more than a game in Alabama, Michigan, Notre Dame or anywhere else in all of college football.
According to Oddspedia, the average cost of football tickets, parking, two beers, two sodas and two hot dogs at Folsom Field is $302 in 2025, 13.6 percent higher than last year. That number is 63.5 percent higher than the national average of $184.67.
The study blames the majority of the cost on the tickets, which rose 13.6 percent from last year to an average of $228 for two tickets this year.
So far, only one game is officially sold out this season, that is the September 20 game against Wyoming.
You can find single game tickets and check availability for other games by visiting the official CU Buffs Athletics website.
