New show ‘Wooking for Love’ heads to Denver and looks for ‘wooks’

Dec 6, 2025, 1:00 PM

Hoping that this ends better than “Love is Blind” and their Denver season.

A new reality dating show embracing festival culture is coming to Denver, and applications to be on the show are now open. The show, “Wooking For Love,” is not glamorous like some other dating shows.

The show will involve common electronic dance music festival activities like car camping, “vibing under the Colorado sky” and visiting local iconic places like Red Rocks Park and Amphitheatre and Casa Bonita. The idea is to showcase more of the average “Denver resident” and not some wannabe actors.

The show will have 16 “wooks” as contestants. “Wook” is a term with many definitions often used to describe fans in the EDM and jam band festival community. Some compare the term to “hippies.” Wook was used in the terms early days to describe people who regularly travel to attend music festivals in the EDM and jam band scenes.

Filming is set to begin in the spring, and applications to be a contestant on the show are open now until Valentine’s Day. The application asks for personal information, social media, music preferences and festival experience, as well as applicants’ love story and why they should be on the show. The application can be filled out online.

Ummmmmmmm. I have so many reservations for this one already.
