The end is near for all the smoke around Denver – Here’s when it should disappear

Jul 24, 2024, 3:30 PM | Updated: 4:28 pm

It’s almost felt like we’re living in a giant smoky bubble the last few days in Denver, but thank goodness, the end is near for all the smoke!

According to our partners at 9News, the smoke will be at it’s worst today (Wednesday) before some slight relief on Thursday and then it’ll “basically be gone on Friday.”

By Friday, they say that some Pacific moisture streams in along with a weak system. That’ll kick off fairly widespread mountain showers and storms, with a few possible in the metro area as well that will really help with the smoke. It looks similar for Saturday before drier weather moves back in for Sunday and early next week.
