Colorado’s second drive-thru-only Chick-fil-A opens May 14 with free food for anyone dressed like a cow

Dig through the closet, raid the kids’ craft supplies, borrow a onesie — whatever it takes to look like a cow by Thursday morning.
Chick-fil-A’s second drive-thru-only restaurant in Colorado opens at 6 a.m. May 14 at 7495 S. Gartrell Road in Aurora, near the E-470 and Gartrell Road interchange. And anyone who shows up in cow attire on opening day scores a free entrée or kid’s meal — no purchase necessary.
The chain is calling it a “Moove-In Party.” Whether it’s a full-body cow suit or a simple spotted accessory, all ages are welcome to join. The offer is one per person, while supplies last.
Here’s what’s on the table for the cow-clad:
- Breakfast: Chick-fil-A Chicken Biscuit, Egg White Grill or 4-count Chick-n-Minis
- Lunch/dinner: Original Chicken Sandwich, Spicy Chicken Sandwich, 8-count Nuggets, 8-count Grilled Nuggets or 5-count Nugget Kid’s Meal
The Aurora location follows the same no-lobby prototype that debuted last month at Chick-fil-A Runway 35 South, 9111 E. 40th Ave. in Denver’s Central Park neighborhood, which opened April 16. Think chicken sandwiches, waffle fries and lemonade — just no indoor seating. The design prioritizes speed and volume, with dedicated drive-thru lanes, a walk-up window for carry-out, and Chick-fil-A’s Mobile Thru ordering system.
The new Aurora restaurant will be open Monday through Saturday, 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. — and, as with every Chick-fil-A, closed on Sundays.
