Is Sam Hunt Retiring From Music

Sam Hunt’s priorities have changed.
He tells The Boot after four years of hustle, he’s ready to have a personal life. “I’m in a place in my career and in my life where I’m not willing to give music 100 percent of me anymore. I did that for four years, and it was fruitful as far as my career goes, but everything else in my life had to be put on hold, and I’m just not willing to do that for years and years at a time.”
To be clear, he’s not abandoning music, he’s just creating room in his life for other things. We do hope to have new song from Sam soon though!
