Garth Brooks loves what the women of country music are doing right now. While he admits it’s tough out there for everyone, he says the ladies are absolutely crushing it.

“Guys, it’s harder than ever to be an artist, bar none, but the females in our world, they’re tearing it up right now.”

And hey — being married to Trisha Yearwood probably gives him a pretty good perspective on that.

As for who’s catching his ear? Lainey Wilson and Ella Langley. “They’re tearing it up right now,” Brooks said. Not a bad co-sign to have.
