Kenny Chesney To Receive Huge Award Next Week

Kenny Chesney will be recognized at the 50th Annual CMA Awards on November 2nd with the Pinnacle Award. The honor goes to an artist who has achieved popularity around the world through their music and concerts.
Kenny says, “When you do what you do, you never think it’s a big deal. But when an organization like CMA recognizes you in this fashion, it makes you step back. To receive this award — especially during their 50th Anniversary — is such an honor, because they’re recognizing half a century of country music.”
The only other artists who have received the honor are Garth Brooks in 2005 and Taylor Swift in 2013.
The 50th Annual CMA Awards, hosted by Brad Paisley and Carrie Underwood, air live from Nashville on ABC.
