Water World gives sneak peek into new attractions

It may be a little too chilly to think about swimming in Denver this time of year, but Water World has us all hyped about what they’ve got planned for next summer!

Colorado’s largest waterpark is giving a sneak peek of its newest attraction that’ll open in the summer of 2026.

Water World, which is located in Federal Heights, provided its official rendering of its outdoors-themed “Summit Canyon,” which will be the park’s newest attraction area since 2021.

“Summit Canyon will offer something for everyone with unique thrill rides and spaces for children to play while parents relax,” said a spokesperson for Water World.

According to Water World Colorado, construction is underway for “Summit Canyon,” which is expected to open for the 2026 season. More details will be released during the winter and parkgoers can also find updated information on the new area addition from the waterpark’s website.

Water World began the Summit Canyon construction project this offseason after retiring its Calypso Cove area in August.
