Many Colorado DMV services will be unavailable starting Wednesday

If you need a trip to the DMV this week, you’ll want to plan ahead, as Colorado’s DMVs will be closing this week.

For services like online drivers licenses, services will be down from February 11 through 16. All other online DMV services will be unavailable February 14 through 16, and in-person DMV services will only have limited availability February 17 through 2o.

The closings will be done so that Colorado’s DMV can get major updates to their technology with hopes of creating a better experience for those using their services.

In their statement about the closings, they advise Coloradans to complete their transactions immediately to avoid any delays and to handle any outstanding tasks that might be arriving on those deadline dates.
