Forget the conference room with stale coffee and a whiteboard. A new Denver workspace wants you to close the deal on the 18th hole — without ever leaving the office.
Clubhouse Work & Golf, a coworking concept that bills itself as the first office space purpose-built around an indoor golf club, is opening its second location this summer at 720 S. Colorado Blvd. in the Cherry Creek area. The two-floor, 23,000-square-foot space will feature 65 private offices and coworking areas upstairs, with five state-of-the-art Trackman iO golf simulators, a putting green, two premium meeting rooms and a lounge downstairs.
The concept is built on a simple premise: business meetings happen on the golf course all the time — this just puts the course and the office in the same building.
“Once we got the first one opened and people could come see and experience it, the floodgates started opening,” co-founder Josh Kaplan told the Denver Post. “People started coming to us with opportunities and deals, and that’s how we got this place.”
The Cherry Creek location comes after Clubhouse’s first space in Greenwood Village sold out its offices within a year of opening. That original location is also expanding, adding 30 new private offices at 5680 Greenwood Plaza Blvd. this fall.
When it opens, the Cherry Creek office space will be accessible 24 hours a day, seven days a week, year-round. The golf lounges will operate from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. The downstairs lounge will serve a custom-roasted local coffee blend, wine and beer on tap, and double as event space for happy hours, networking events and private gatherings.
