Clover’s Closet in Castle Rock, Colorado, is set to reopen its pop-up prom shop this weekend, offering free dresses, suits, shoes, and accessories to students across the state.
Founded six years ago by Karen Davis, the shop was created to ease the financial burden prom season can place on families.
All items are donated, with contributions coming from across the country. Some students travel from as far as an hour away to be able to shop at the pop-up.
The pop-up shop is open beginning Friday (Mar. 28) from 3:30 p.m. to 6 p.m., Saturday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. It’ll also be open the two following weekend April 4-6 and April 11-13.
As for donations, they’re always accepting them at the store, and boy’s clothing is especially hard to come by and much appreciated if you have any you’re looking to get rid of.
