The Denver Dog Fair takes over the National Western Complex on Saturday

Jun 25, 2026, 4:32 PM

The Denver Dog Fair returns Saturday (June 27) to the National Western Complex with 140,000 square feet of indoor, temperature-controlled space dedicated entirely to the proposition that dogs deserve their own trade show — and humans are welcome to tag along.

The event, organized by Dana Cain Events — the same outfit behind Cat Fest Colorado and the Unicorn Festival — runs 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. across the Expo Hall, Hall of Education and Stadium Hall at 4655 Humboldt St. The lineup includes a puppy kissing booth, flyball games, a “Doggy Derby” race, bulldog races, fun contests and more than 250 vendor booths hawking everything from organic treats to custom collars. Multiple rescue organizations, including PawsCo and Colorado Pet Pantry, will have booths with adoptable dogs on-site. Organizers say the fair has facilitated more than 250 adoptions since it launched in 2024.

Tickets are $20 for humans. Dogs get in for $5. Kids 5 and under are free.

The fair has grown quickly since its debut, moving from the Arapahoe County Fairgrounds to the National Western Complex to accommodate demand. More information is available at denverdogfair.com.
