Carrie Underwood’s Advice For New Moms

Carrie Underwood has some advice for new moms: Ask for help.

She tells Redbook, “Accepting help is hard for me, but I’m learning. Sometimes I feel guilty that this is my son’s life: We live on a bus and we’re in a hotel room, and sometimes we’re in the middle of nowhere and it’s not so great. It’s not all glamorous.”

Carrie has a nanny while she’s on the road, but admits it’s still tough asking for help with 19-month-old Isaiah when she’s at home. She says, “I’d feel guilty asking someone to watch him at home while I run to the grocery store.”

So when’s number-two on the way? She says it will be a whole lot easier when Mike Fisher retires from hockey and will be home to help more.
