Indoor theme park comes to the Denver area

Sure, Denver has Elitch Garden’s and Lakeside, but what about when you get a hankering to go to a theme park in the dead of winter? Enter Malibu Jack’s!
A former movie theater in the Thornton Town Center at 10001 Grant St. is turning into an indoor theme park known as Malibu Jack’s.
Malibu Jack’s has been turning vacant businesses into theme parks around the country since 2013, and this will be their eighth location, but the first in Colorado.
The park will have go-karts, bowling, a drop tower, a roller coaster, miniature golf, laser tag, motion theater rides, a kids’ play zone, an arcade and more. It will also open up about 100 jobs in the community, and it’s currently hiring.
The theme park is close to finished and it’s expecting the building to open in mid-September.
