Colorado’s first drive-thru-only Dunkin’ opening in Aurora on June 13

No lobby. No tables. No lingering over a latte… Colorado’s first drive-thru-only Dunkin’ is coming to Aurora, and it’s built for one thing: getting you your iced coffee and getting you gone.
Dunkin’ will open a Next Generation drive-thru-only restaurant at 270 S. Havana St., near East Alameda Avenue and South Havana Street, on Saturday, June 13. The location will also mark a milestone for the chain in Colorado — it’s the 50th Dunkin’ in the state.
The restaurant is being described by the company as a “modern, digital-first design built for speed, efficiency and convenience.” There will be no indoor seating. Guests order from the drive-thru lane and keep moving. The store will be open daily from 5 a.m. to 8 p.m. and will employ approximately 15 crew members.
“We’re proud to introduce this unique drive-thru-only restaurant concept to Colorado as Dunkin’ celebrates its 50th restaurant in the state,” said Katy Gdowski, who co-owns the location with Jake Gdowski through their company, Red Mountain Company. The Aurora store marks the Gdowskis’ fifth Dunkin’ in Colorado. “We look forward to serving the Aurora community with the same Dunkin’ favorites guests know and love through a more efficient, on-the-go experience.”
The drive-thru-only format has been expanding across Dunkin’s national footprint but had not previously reached Colorado. A grand opening celebration is scheduled for June 13. The concept aligns with the broader industry shift toward speed and convenience — a familiar playbook in a state where the morning commute and the coffee run are often the same thing.
