It’s National Taco Day and Taco Tuesday Tuesday, so clear your dinner plans. National Taco Day now falls on the first Tuesday of October, and several chains with Denver-area locations are celebrating with free tacos, $2 tacos and one deal that rewards you for dressing up as a taco.
Taco Bell has teamed up with Duolingo, the language-learning app, for a $4 meal that includes a Doritos Locos Taco, a Seasoned Beef Soft Taco, Cinnamon Twists and a medium drink. That one runs through Oct. 12, so you don’t have to rush. If you’re ordering in tonight, DoorDash, Grubhub and Uber Eats will add a free taco to Taco Bell orders of $22 or more. Over at Fuzzy’s Taco Shop, Original Tacos with the classic proteins are just $2 each today. Del Taco is giving Del Yeah! Rewards members a free taco with any purchase. Its Colorado locations include Denver, Aurora, Lakewood, Englewood, Centennial and Lone Tree.
Cafe Rio has single tacos for under $3 at participating locations. The best deal belongs to Chuy’s in Westminster. Show up dressed as a taco, show your server a social media post with #ChuysTacoDay, and you’ll get a free entree. If you skip the costume, you can still add a ground beef taco to any entree for $1.
Most of these deals end tonight, and many only apply at participating locations, so check the app before you go. If you show up to Chuy’s in a full taco costume, please send us a picture.
