TIME put out its 100 Most Influential People in the World’s list for 2026, and making the cover is Country Music’s own Luke Combs!
The annual list from TIME that features artists, pioneers, titans, icons, leaders and innovators who made an impact through the year has some big names on the list, such as actor Noah Wyle, singer Dakota Johnson, influencer MrBeast and golfer Scottie Scheffler, but it is Luke Combs who can claim the title of being the cover artist of the list.
Luke Comb’s entry included a short essay from Ed Sheeran who celebrated Luke’s achievement “while remaining loving and kind to those around him” and even said that his song “When it Rains It Pours” was the soundtrack for him and his school-mates while on holiday.
In an Instagram post shared by time, they quote Luke in saying “I think the thing that maybe people like about me is that I’m not that interesting.” They also highlight that Luke Combs was the first Country artist to have have two songs surpass 1 billion streams on Spotify.
