Is it the traffic on I-70? Or maybe it’s the fact that the Colorado Rockies are terrible? Whatever it is, something has Coloradans feeling pretty unhappy these days.
WalletHub has just come out with their list of the “Happiest States in America.” They rated each state on 30 key metrics in three main areas: emotional & physical well-being, work environment, and community & environment.
In the list, which Colorado has traditionally ranked towards the top, our state tumbled all the way into the bottom 10 states, ranking 41st out of 50 states. Colorado’s worst category was “community & environment” where we ranked 49th.
This year’s happiest state is Hawaii, while West Virginia is the least happy.
