With the 88 Drive In Theatre Closing, Where are the Other Colorado Drive In Theaters?

The 88 Drive-In at 88th and Rosemary in Commerce City, which is being shuttered by its owner to make room for a “multi-tenant warehouse building,” is the last drive in theater in the Denver metro area. However, there are other drive ins around Colorado.

If you live in the Denver area they will require a drive, but it’s about to be your only option.

Here are the Colorado drive ins still open:

Holiday Twin Drive-in, Fort Collins
Mesa Drive-in, Pueblo
Tru Vu Drive-in, Delta
Comanche Drive-in, Buena Vista
Star Drive-in Theatre, Montrose
Best Western Movie Manor, Monte Vista

Opening a new drive in in the Denver area seems like a decent investment at this point…
