Hey Y'all, Hannah Dasher is Serving Up Hooks, Homilies and Homecookin'-for-Dummies | Music City Minute

Well butter my backside and call me a biscuit; a sweet Georgia peach is turning the country music scene on its head. After eleven years of hustling in Music City, Miss Hannah Dasher has worked her way up from amuse-bouche to the main entrée. Now, how would one describe the 40-year-old Dasher? Let me put it to you this way: If the queen of country music had kinfolk from The Goober State, Dasher would be Her Majesty’s, step-auntie’s half cousin, on her Mama's side, thrice removed. With hair as high as the heavens, the icon-in-training is a regular on the Grand Ole Opry stage.

Yet, the singer/ songwriter’s music is not the only thing drawing a crowd; it is also her lessons in southern hospitality. This year, Hannah Dasher was proud to release her first cookbook called Stand By Your Pan, which pairs splendidly with the sassy lady's hilarious tune of the same name. The no-nonsense book features one hundred comfort food recipes, so good, they will, “hurt people’s feelin’s.” Additionally, readers will enjoy kitchen tips and tricks as well as highly quotable anecdotes that begin with statements like, “Just because you’re twenty doesn’t mean you can’t cook like a meemaw.” I am telling you right now, I have four copies of Stand By Your Pan in my Amazon cart that I intend to distribute amongst family this Christmas.
