It was a tough weekend to be a Colorado State Ram. First, the Rams’ quarterback and a lineman were suspended for spitting on opponents. Then one of the best quarterbacks in the world took a shot at the school…
Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen returned to the University of Wyoming Saturday to have his No. 17 jersey retired.
Allen, the reigning NFL MVP, is the first player to have his jersey retired by Wyoming, and spoke to the crowd at War Memorial Stadium during a halftime ceremony, delivering a message to Wyoming’s rival Colorado State.
“The fans and the support here in Wyoming, I am so blessed to represent this university and this beautiful state,” Allen told the crowd. “I love you guys. Thank you, god bless, go Pokes.” “And it will always suck to be a CSU Ram.”
Here’s video of the shot that amped up the Wyoming crowd…
