WATCH – Colorado Avalanche fans boo their own goalie during his introduction

If you’re having a rough day, just know it probably isn’t as bad as Colorado Avalanche goaltender Alexander Georgiev’s last few days…
The Avs have started the new season 0-3-0, and they’ve given up a TON of goals. Whenever you do that, you know who’s getting the blame… The goalie, of course.
Alexandar Georgiyev has started all three games for the team, getting benched early in the first two games, and then giving up another five goals against the New York Islanders last night night (Oct. 14) before heading to the bench and watching his team give up an empty net goal.
The team’s struggles haven’t all been on “Georgie’s” goaltending, but the fans are quick to place the blame. As a Denver sports fan, last night was the first time I’ve ever heard the home crowd boo a player during their team’s introductions.
