If you’re trying to catch every buzzer-beater without squinting at a single sad screen, here are the best places around Denver to post up.

Best Overall Atmosphere: Stoney’s Bar and Grill (Lincoln) & Stoney’s Uptown Joint

If you want peak Tournament energy—people yelling, cheering, and living through every possession—Stoney’s is the move. Both locations are known for high-energy crowds and extensive TV setups, so you’re not stuck watching the game “kind of” from behind a pillar. It’s a classic for a reason.

Best Screen Setup: Tom’s Watch Bar (McGregor Square)

Tom’s Watch Bar is basically a sports viewing warehouse—in a good way. The space is massive (20,000 square feet), with more than 150 screens. And yes, it gets even more extra: tables have app-enabled audio, so you can lock in on the game you actually care about instead of hearing a random debate about a foul call from three games ago.

Best Dedicated Experience: The Basketball Social House

This is the spot for people who don’t just “watch basketball,” they watch basketball. The Basketball Social House is rated as a top destination for hoops fans, with strong food and built-in activities that make it feel more like an event than just another bar stool situation.

Best for Multiple Games at Once: Govnr’s Park

This isn’t a single-game commitment—it’s a full-day lifestyle. Govnr’s Park is a longtime staple for catching multiple games at once, which is ideal when your bracket is already in trouble by noon and you’re trying to emotionally hedge.

Downtown Action: Society Sports and Spirits (Blake Street)

Right in the middle of the LoDo action, Society Sports and Spirits delivers that high-energy downtown crowd. If you want a central spot where people are fully invested (and the volume is never “too low”), this is it.

Neighborhood Favorites: Campus Lounge and Tight End Sports Bar

Not everyone wants the downtown scene. If you’re looking for more neighborhood energy:

  • Tight End Sports Bar is another solid go-to for a more local, game-day vibe.
