Tickets Are Now On Sale for the ‘Always Sold Out’ Polar Express Train Ride in Colorado

Oct 3, 2023, 4:59 PM

Every year I tell my wife I am going to get us tickets to the Colorado Railroad Museum’s Polar Express event, but every year they sellout before I can get them. So before they sellout this year, I am here to let you know that they are officially on sale!

The Polar Express adventure starts in Golden with a cabaret-style show, including a cookie, hot chocolate and holiday cheer. The show reenacts Chris Van Allsburg’s The Polar Express.

Participants get to watch the arrival of The Polar Express train, soon destined to take passengers ‘to the North Pole.’

After the ride on the train that features singing elves and Santa, riders return to ‘Santa’s workshop,’ where they get a Christmas gift, a silver bell.

The Polar Express Train is set to run from November 10 through December 23, which three rides each evening at 5 p.m., 6:30 p.m., and 8 p.m.

Standard seating and First Class seating is available, with standard seating priced at $80 for those age two to 15 and $100 for those 16 and older. First Class seating can be purchased as a table that seats four at $475 a pop. First Class tickets get seated right by the show during the cabaret experience, also getting commemorative cocoa mugs, a copy of The Polar Express illustrated hardbound book, and two other ‘special’ gifts.
