Caesars Sportsbook & Casino shares potential payout for bet that Rockies will win World Series

The chances that the Colorado Rockies win the World Series in 2025 are about as good as getting bit by a shark in Colorado or me winning an Olympic medal. But, imagine betting on them to do it, and miraculously they did…

Caesars Sportsbook & Casino shared on their social media that a bettor in New York wagered $5 on the Colorado Rockies to win the World Series at +500,000 odds, meaning a win would pay $25,000!

For fun, I did some math and found that if you bet $100 with the same odds, a win would net you a cool $500,000.

With those odds, the casino is also telling you there is a .02 percent chance of this happening, so basically you might as well light your money on fire….still fun to think about, though!
