If there was any doubt left that Dolly Parton is a national treasure, let this end that…

Earlier this year, Colorado delivered its two millionth free book in about five years through the Dolly Parton Imagination Library.

Dolly started a mission in 1995 to get free books into the hands of children across the United States and several other countries around the world, and so far, the Imagination Library has delivered 200 million free books to children worldwide.

The program started in Colorado in 2020 and offers books to children in all Colorado zip codes, with 30 programs covering portions of all 64 counties in the state.
