Dec 19, 2023, 6:59 AM

Turns out when you snooze, you don’t lose, in fact, when you snooze on the weekends, it may be beneficial to your health!

A new study from Sleep Health indicates that extra sleep on the weekends can be great for your cardiovascular health and long term health.

Of the 3,000 people in the study, it found that an extra two hours of sleep on the weekend reduces heart attack and stroke risk by 63% especially for people who do not get at least 6 hours of sleep during the work week.

So next time someone tries to shame you for making use of that “snooze” button, you just them know you’re doing it for your health!
