RTD in Denver is looking for bus drivers – Offering nearly $26 an hour and a $4,000 signing bonus

Somedays I feel like I should be getting paid just to drive around Denver and deal with the traffic, and that’s in my personal vehicle. I am sure driving a bus around town isn’t easy work, but RTD is looking for some folks to take on the task, and the compensation may make it worthwhile.

The Regional Transportation District (RTD) is holding a career fair at the Crowne Plaza Denver Airport Convention Center from 9 a.m to 3 p.m. Thursday, March 14.

Starting pay begins at $25.95, includes a $4,000 signing bonuses, paid training, including for a commercial drivers license and help getting through the permit. To qualify as a candidate, a domestic driver’s license valid for at least two years is required.

Applying on site may earn qualified candidates a same-day offer letter. Training can start as early as April 1 or April 15

Visit RTD’s Careers page on the RTD website for more info.
