NEW COUNTRY From COLE SWINDELL Featuring DIERKS BENTLEY, ‘Flatliner’!

Cole Swindell had a great year in 2016.  It could have been better with at least a CMA nomination for “You Should Be Here”, but I’m willing to move on.  Also with “Middle of a Memory”, Cole’s You Should Be Here record is one that he is proud of.  Cole originally wrote “Flatliner” for Dierks to record, but that never happened.  So this is the next best thing right?

“I don’t know if he heard it or didn’t like it, but a year or so ago, I was texting with him, and sent it to him, and he loved it, We talked about it for a while, and sure enough, we got to do it, and it’s gonna be awesome.”

“Flatliner” is the third single from Swindell’s You Should Be Here album, one of seven he wrote himself.  In fact, Cole will be touring with Bentley this Winter/Spring on his What the Hell Tour, that kicks off in a couple of weeks.  No Denver date yet, but they’ll hit Vegas in March and the Telluride Bluegrass Festival in June.  Hopefully a Denver date will come!  Paul Donovan
