LOOK – The Denver Zoo just welcomed a baby Eastern bongo calf and it’s so cute

Before today, I’d never even heard of an Eastern bongo, but all of a sudden they’re one of my favorite animals…
The Denver Zoo Conservation Alliance just announced the arrival of the newest member of their Eastern bongo herd, a critically endangered antelope, and she is so CUTE!!
The female calf, who does not yet have a name, was born July 5 to parents Howard and Fern, and is already in the public-facing exhibit at the zoo.
The Eastern (or Mountain) bongo is only found in a mountain forested region of central Kenya – near Mt. Kenya and the Aberdare mountains, and there are only fewer than 200 Eastern bongos estimated to be remaining in the wild.
