The more uniform options a team has, the more merchandise they can sell. So, teams these days constantly release new uniforms. The Denver Nuggets were the latest to do so today…
The new City Edition jersey will be an alternate for the 2024-25 NBA season, and the team says the rainbow elements connect “eras, players and uniforms and symbolizes the shared evolution of the city and franchise.” The theme is also inspired by Colorado sunsets.
To me, the colored “rainbows” look more like the splotches almost remind me of the weather maps you see on the local news before a big storm rolls through town.
The uniforms also focus on “520” rather than Denver or Mile High City, and more fans on social media seem to be disliking that than the weird color splotches.
