‘Fill the Truck’ helps provide nearly 15,000 meals to those in need in Denver

The generosity of the KYGO audience never ceases to amaze me. Even through a record snowstorm, you helped our fellow Coloradans in need in a big way.

Our third annual “Fill the Truck” event happened at the Highlands Ranch Walmart on November 6-8. We asked you to donate non-perishable food items to help people in Colorado facing food insecurity, but what we didn’t expect was the 11th biggest snowstorm in Denver’s history to happen those three days also…

The snow didn’t stop you from dropping off food and donating online, and with your kindness we were able to provide the Food Bank of the Rockies with 14,791 meals. That is nearly 15,000 of our friends and neighbors who will now get to eat because of you… THANK YOU!

If you couldn’t make it out, the Food Bank of the Rockies can always use your support. Details on how you can help are here.
