Ernest is taking the month off from touring, will miss a Colorado show – Refund info is here

Ernest is putting his family first, but as a result will miss a show he had planned in Colorado.

The country singer, who was scheduled to perform at the Adams County Fair in Brighton, CO on August 1st, shared the news in a social media post, explaining that while he loves performing for fans every night, the road has “taken its toll” on both him and his toddler son, Ryman.

“I’m going to be taking about a month off to reset and spend some time at home with my family,” Ernest wrote. “My son, Ryman, is now at the age where every time I get home, he asks me if I’m leaving…and I just can’t stand hearing him ask for daddy thru a phone call anymore.

The Adams County Fair posted on their socials that they are, “in the process of looking for a new headliner to join Jon Langston on Thursday, Aug. 1. If you bought tickets, you may request a refund or you can hang on to them and they’ll be good for our new act. To request a refund, please call Etix Customer Support at 1.800.514.3849, extension 1.”

We’ll keep you up to date when that new headliner is announced also.
