Did someone actually steal Nikola Jokic’s underwear after Denver lost game four against Minnesota?

Sure, people will steal anything… But one thing I’d avoid if I was a thief is an athletes underwear, because GROSS!
Nikola Jokić lost a lot more than a basketball game Saturday night. Or at least he thought he did.
After the Denver Nuggets fell 112-96 to the Minnesota Timberwolves in Game 4 of their first-round playoff series, the three-time MVP emerged from the showers in the visitors’ locker room and made a startling announcement to anyone within earshot.
“Someone stole my underwear,” Jokić declared, according to The Athletic’s Jason Quick.
Quick described the 7-foot Serbian center as “part alarmed, part panicked, part irritated” as he searched for the missing garment, looking “up, down, to the left, to the right, bewildered, frustrated, and with utter, you’ve-gotta-be-kidding-me disbelief.”
The mystery was short-lived. Jokić eventually located the underwear draped inconspicuously over the closet rod inside his own locker.
The brief scare, while comical in hindsight, capped what was an otherwise brutal evening for Jokić and the Nuggets, who now trail the Timberwolves 3-1 in the best-of-seven Western Conference first-round series and face elimination in Game 5 at Ball Arena in Denver.
The Nuggets now return to Denver needing to win three straight to survive. Game 5 is at Ball Arena.
