If the Denver Broncos ownership, who keep talking about building a new stadium, see this they may end up changing their minds!
“USA Today” and Yelp have come out with a list of the highest and lowest-rated stadiums in the league.
The list is based on Yelp reviews from fans, and while some stadiums have many more reviews than others, it’s the actual rating number, not how many of them the stadium gets that counts here.
According to fans, Lambeau Field, home of the Green Bay Packers, is the best NFL stadium. It gets an average rating of 4.7, and lots of praise for the “welcoming energy” and “great sports atmosphere.”
Empower Field at Mile High in Denver did really well though too, coming in fourth on the list with a 4.2 average rating.
As far as the worst stadium goes, that distinction goes to Northwest Stadium, home of the Washington Commanders, which has an average rating of 2.4. Plenty of unhappy football fans have given it one star, including one who writes, “You couldn’t pay me to come back to this stadium.”
