It’s been 16 years since Mike Shanahan has coached the Denver Broncos, but he still calls Denver home. Now he’ll just have to find a new house in town…
Mike Shanahan and his wife Peggy just sold their 6,500-square-foot home in Denver to an executive with a commercial construction company for $4.6 million, about $250,000 less than asking price.
The Shanahan’s purchased the home in November 2021, weeks after selling their Cherry Hills Village mansion for $15.7 million. The Denver home was a transition house, while the Shanahan’s built a new home in Cherry Hills Village.
Now that the new home is done, they told the Denver Post that, “We will always make Denver our primary base as we absolutely love this city and feel very loyal to it and all the close friends and relationships we have established here over the years.”
