If you’ve been complaining about the prices of eggs, you’re really going to hate this…
Denver International Airport, which already charges an arm and a leg for parking at the airport, is raising their prices.
According to the airport, the adjustments are needed to keep up with a 44.5 percent rise in parking management and shuttle expenses over the past three years. DIA officials said the new rates are in line with pricing at other major United States airports and nearby off-site lots.
Here’s a breakdown of the updated daily rates:
- Garage Parking: $35/day (up $5)
- Premium Reserve: $45/day (down $5)
- Economy Lots: $20/day (up $2)
- Pikes Peak & Longs Peak Lots: $10/day (up $2)
- Short-Term Parking: $7/hour or $168/day (no change)
- 61st and Peña Lot: $8/day (up $1)
Yes, there is one option that actually went down in price. “Premium Reserve” parking will see a $5 drop in daily rates.
The last time DIA increased parking rates was in July 2022.
