Police dogs biting bad guys, completely normal… Bad guys biting the human cops as payback, not normal!

Colorado Springs Police located a parolee wanted on two felony warrants. Due to his history with weapons and escape attempts, the K9 Unit was called for assistance.

Officers approached the residence, and the suspect was seen trying to escape through a bathroom window but failed. A K9 officer and his dog, Riggs, entered the home and warned the man to surrender. After several minutes with no response, Riggs was released and found the bad guy hiding under clothes. The dog bit the criminal, who resisted and then proceeded to bite an officer’s hand.

The suspect received medical treatment for minor injuries before being booked on his warrants and additional charges. The officer was treated for minor hand bite injuries.
