Colorado Avalanche Will Have 8 Players Representing Their Nations at the Olympics

The Colorado Avalanche aren’t just one of the hottest teams in the NHL right now — they’ll also be well represented on the world stage this winter.
The Avs will send eight players to the 2026 Olympic Games in Milan, with those players representing five different countries when NHL athletes return to Olympic competition in February.

This marks the first time since 2014 that NHL players will participate in the Olympic Games, making this year’s tournament especially significant for hockey fans.
Men’s hockey action is set to begin on February 11, with the gold medal game scheduled for February 22.
