An in-person, interactive Monopoly game is headed to Denver

Oct 22, 2024, 4:23 PM | Updated: Oct 23, 2024, 9:30 am

Everybody has played the board game Monopoly, but I bet you haven’t played it like this…

Monopoly Lifesized: Travel Edition transforms Monopoly into a fast-paced, high-energy adventure on a massive board. Teams of up to 24 players are divided into groups of six, and everyone is constantly engaged as they work together to earn properties, avoid jail and tackle themed puzzles within each space on the board.

This large-scale interactive experience will be located in the former Ace Hardware and Dollar Tree building off of Broadway and Alameda in Denver. This 27,000 square-foot building in Denver’s design district will house a variety of Off-Center experiences over the next two years.

In addition to the game, will be the venue’s new Top Hat Bar, which serves Monopoly-themed cocktails with a local twist. Groups can even rent out a private area for celebrations, including family outings, date nights and office team-building activities.

Monopoly Lifesized: Travel Edition, preview performances are Tuesday, October 22, through Saturday, October 26; official run goes from Sunday, October 27, through Sunday, January 25, at 407 South Broadway. Learn more at denvercenter.org.
