It’s been about 27 years since the “Titanic” movie came out and 112 years since the actual ship sank, but people are still intrigued by the tragedy.
If you’re fascinated by the most famous ship in history, you’ve got to get to the Titanic: An Immersive Voyage at Exhibition Hub Art Center Denver before it leaves town next week.
A website for the exhibit, that’s been in Denver since April, describes it as a “once-in-a-lifetime expedition to experience Titanic.” The installation features more than 300 artifacts, dramatic re-creations, 3D videos and animations and immersive galleries in which participants can walk through the Titanic’s halls, see the ship’s construction and “come face-to-face with the iceberg.” A virtual reality option that tours the wreck site 2.5 miles beneath the sea is also included for guests over six years old.
The exhibit is open through Oct. 12th at 3900 Elati Street, Denver, with kids’ tickets going for about $23 and adult tickets going for about $30. Get yours here.
