After lines to park were ‘hours’ long and they ran out of food, Colorado’s Renaissance Festival will limit guests

Colorado’s Renaissance Festival is awesome, and it seems like the word is all the way out now.
So many people went to the festival in Larkspur over the weekend that there were hours-long lines to get into the parking lot and a shortage of food (specifically the popular turkey legs) for guests.
Surprisingly, there’s never been a limit on how many tickets are sold, so this was bound to happen.
However, the staff at the festival isn’t going to let it happen again. In response, the festival will limit online ticket sales to the seasonal festival, starting this weekend. The goal is “ensuring more space, shorter lines, and smoother traffic flow throughout the village and surrounding areas,” a press release said.
The new rule will be implemented for buying online tickets, but there will not be any limits on tickets sold in person at King Soopers or the festival box office. So, if too many of y’all run out to those places, the turkey legs are going to be an issue again…
