A popular fast food side item is back in Colorado for the first time in three years

I was really hoping people would throw the kind of fit they threw about Taco Bell discontinuing the Mexican Pizza when Arby’s got rid of their potato cakes in 2021. It took awhile, but it’s finally happened!

Due to popular demand, Arby’s has brought back its Potato Cakes to their menus around the U.S., including stores in Colorado, starting starting yesterday (July 1), for a limited time.

Fans of this crispy, triangle-shaped side dish have expressed their excitement, having missed it since its quiet removal in 2021.

To celebrate the return, Arby’s is also releasing special Potato Cake-themed merchandise, available in limited quantities on ArbysShop.com.

While the Potato Cakes are said to only be a limited-time item, there’s a possibility they could become a permanent menu item based on fan feedback.
