Denver retiree Steve Greig began adopting senior dogs as a way to find meaning after the tragic loss of his own dog, Wolfgang. Now he is making national news and going viral on social media for his efforts to give the dogs the best later years of life.

He first adopted a 12-year-old Chihuahua named Eeyore and felt an immediate positive impact. Greig, now living with 11 senior dogs, along with a pig and a chicken, finds joy in providing the animals a loving home in their twilight years.

Sharing their journey on social media with over a million followers, he advocates for the adoption of senior dogs, noting their low-key nature and the fulfillment they bring to his life.
