You can drive a Ferrari or Lamborghini on a racetrack near Denver this October

Aug 24, 2026, 4:03 PM

You’ve admired them on Instagram. You’ve pointed at them in Cherry Creek. You’ve maybe even sat in one at the auto show and pretended you were about to buy it. But have you ever actually floored a Lamborghini on a racetrack with no speed limits? Because that’s exactly what’s coming to Colorado this fall.

Xtreme Xperience, the touring supercar driving experience that operates at more than 40 racetracks nationwide, is bringing its fleet of exotic cars to High Plains Raceway just east of Denver in Deer Trail from Oct. 23–25. The lineup includes a Ferrari 488 GTB, Ferrari 296 GTB, Lamborghini Huracán LP610-4, Porsche 911 GT3, Porsche Cayman GT4 RS, Chevrolet Corvette C8 Z06 and Nissan GT-R. Driving experiences start at $199 for three to four laps with a professional instructor riding shotgun, and if you’d rather let someone else do the driving while you white-knuckle the passenger seat, Dodge Charger Hellcat ride-alongs start at $79. No experience necessary, they provide the helmet, the briefing and the cold drinks. You just show up and try not to giggle.

High Plains Raceway is a 1.8-mile road course with 11 turns, over 300 feet of cumulative elevation change per lap, steep climbs up to 10% and blind crests. It’s about an hour east of Denver at 93301 East Highway 36 in Deer Trail. Pricing goes up from there depending on the car: the Ferrari 488 GTB and Lamborghini Huracán run around $399–$479, and the Ferrari 296 GTB tops out around $499–$589. A mandatory driver protection plan starts at $39. If you really want to go all in, Xtreme Xperience also offers a multi-day Open Road Rally through the Colorado mountains, four days of scouted routes, premium lodging and a finale at High Plains Raceway, starting at $4,000.

Book at thextremexperience.com. And yes, it counts as a birthday present. A really, really good one.
