For reference, the top 3 cities are Jakarta, Indonesia (168 AQI), Kinshasa, Democratic Republic of Congo (158 AQI) and Addis Adaba, Ethiopa (151 AQI) and all 3 cities currently sit in the “Unhealthy range” of 151-200.
Colorado’s Department of Public Health & Environment currently has a Ozone Action Day Alert throughout the day from Douglas County north to Larimer and Weld counties.
The bad air quality stems from several fires effecting Colorado including the Aspen Acres fire which has grown to over 91,000 acres, on top of high heat and stagnant weather.
